The court on Thursday sent the three erring cops including ASI Angrej Singh, ASI Rajpal Singh and Constable Joginder Singh to six days police remand. It is pertinent to mention here that these officials were arrested from Una in Himachal Pradesh yesterday and were produced in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Ashok Kumar Chauhan here yesterday.
As per the instructions of the court, the accused will be produced on August 2 for next hearing. The court also instructed the police to ensure daily medical checkup of the accused.
Meanwhile, the dismissed cops Angrej Singh and Rajpal Singh leveled serious allegation against the two DSPs and other senior officials.
While talking to the media persons, Angrej Singh said that they have been trapped to save “senior official” of the department.
Notably, the other erring cop Inspector Parminder Singh Bajwa is still elusive.
