ARYANS ORGANISES MEHNDI COMPETITION ON THE EVE OF EID

A mehndi competition on the occasion of Eid was organized in the premises of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh today where the girls belonging to all religion participated in various activities.

Students of Engineering, Law, Pharmacy, Nursing, Management, Agriculture, Education etc, participated with enthusiasm. They created beautiful mehndi designs on different themes.

The competition was held under the supervision of Himanshi Choudhary & Sandeep Kaur, Faculty, Aryans Group of Colleges. Toiba Sadaf (B. Pharmacy) was adjudged first with the title “Mehndi Queen” while Amanpreet Kaur (BA- LLB) and Ekta Shukla (B. Pharmacy) as second and third respectively.

The students hugged each other and wished Eid Mubarak. Seviyan (Kheer), Chocolates were distributed among students & faculty members. Himanshi Chaudhary stated that “We must be ready to sacrifice things that are dear to us because God has endowed us with all those things.

Over the three days of Eid ul-Adha, Muslims mark the end of the great pilgrimage to Mecca and commemorate Abraham’s sacrifice, when he unflinchingly agreed to surrender his son in the name of faith.
