The sleuths belonging to Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) have arrested three gangsters and recovered one pistol (7.62 mm) along with five rounds (7.62 mm), two pistols (countrymade .315 bore) and four live rounds besides a SUV from them.
While divulging details, SSP Charanjit Singh said that following the inputs, the sleuths belonging to CIA, nabbed three gangsters identified as Gurdeep Singh alias Kali Shooter, resident of village Jama Rakhaiya Uthar in Mamdot block, Malkeet Singh alias Sunny resident of Village Megha Rai Uthar in Guruharsahai sub-division and Sahil Kamboj, a resident of village Chakk Sukkad in Jalalabad area.
(SUBHEAD)SSP said that following the information, a trap was laid and the accused were nabbed near Village Golu ka Mour on Ferozepur-Fazilka road adding that they have been booked under 25 Arms Act at Guruharsahai Police station (FIR No. 164 Dated 29.06.2022).
SSP further said that the accused had already been booked in several cases under Arms and NDPS Act at various police stations. “The main accused Gurdeep alias Kali Shooter, who is the member of notorious “Shishu Gang” had been booked by the police in seven cases at Mamdot, Jalalabad, Mohali and Guruharsahai while Sahil has been booked in three cases related theft and robbery. One case is registered against Malkeet under NDPS Act at Mamdot police station”, said SSP.
