INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATED UNDER “AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV” BY MAYANK FOUNDATION

International Yoga Day was celebrated by Mayank Foundation in association with District Yoga Association, Dev Samaj Education College and Bharat Scouts and Guides, Ferozepur. Principal Dr Rajwinder Kaur informed that this year International Yoga Day is being organized under the theme of 'Yoga for Humanity'.

Project coordinators Charanjit Singh and Aksha Kumar said that the purpose of celebrating this day is to make people aware of the benefits of yoga and encourage them to include it in their daily lives.

Dr. Gurnam Singh, Dr. Amarinder Singh Farmah, Rakesh Sharma, Shakti Chopra, Kulwant Singh from District Yoga Association made about 100 people get various yogas done. Dr. Gurnam Singh said in his address that let us all make it successful together and increase the popularity of yoga further. On this occasion, District Secretary of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Deputy DEO Sukhwinder Singh, Prof. Rajni Babar from College, Prof. Aman Sandhu, Prof. Ajay Deep, Manish Bishnoi from Piramal Foundation, Rakesh Kumar ,Manoj Gupta, Arnish Monga, Gursahib Singh, Navinder Kumar, Kamal Sharma and Deepak Sharma from Mayank Foundation were present.
