“Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann has always guarded the interests of the “Panth” and Punjab by sacrificing personal interests”, this was stated by Sardar Jagjit Singh Shushak, Office Secretary, Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) District Ferozepur while interacting with the media persons.
Shushak said that Mann's life is like an open book in which he never hide anything from the people of Punjab. “When Sardar Mann was a police officer, although he respected all religions, he especially encouraged the degenerate Sikh youth to adopt Sikh identity. When Sardar Mann entered politics to save the Panth and Punjab by kicking a senior position in the police, he had to endure the tyranny of the governments in the past. He was offered various positions but he never allowed his principles and Sikh doctrines to come under fire. Till date, no opposition leader has been able to spit on Mann's image”, said Jagjit Singh.
“Due to his clean image and his devotion towards the “Panth”, youth hero like Deep Sidhu used to stand firmly with Mann. He used to campaign for Mann. Even Subhdeep Singh Sidhu Musewala also wanted to campaign for Mann in Lok Sabha constituency Sangrur but due to his untimely death, his wish could not be completed”, said Jagjit Singh
“Still youth like Lakha Sidhana are constantly campaigning for Sardar Mann. Now the people of Sangrur constituency must vote for Sardar Mann keeping in mind the interests of the Panth and Punjab so that our voice could be heard in Delhi”, he said.
