INDIA TO PARTICIPATE IN 4TH JOHOR PRESIDENT CUP KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP 2025 IN MALAYSIA

The Budo Kai Do Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India is proud to announce that a 24-member Indian contingent will be representing the country at the 4th Johor President Cup Karate Championship 2025, which will be held from 22nd to 24th August 2025 in Johor, Malaysia. The Indian team comprises 18 talented players, accompanied by 5 experienced coaches and 1 team manager, all prepared to showcase their skills and determination at this prestigious international event.

The players representing India include Mohit, Ankit, Sanyog, Ashu, Rohit, Gurleen Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Lovepreet Singh, Kamalpreet Kaur, Amandeep Kaur, and Harsimrat Kaur. Supporting them are the dedicated coaches—Naveen Kumar, Swaran Singh, Yogesh Kumar, Tejinder Pal Singh, and Usha Rani from Nawanshehar—who have played a vital role in preparing the athletes for the competition.

Sharanjeet Singh, President of the Budo Kai Do Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the entire contingent. He expressed pride in the team's efforts and wished them success, saying, “We are immensely proud of our athletes and coaches. I wish the entire team the very best and hope they bring glory to the nation. Their dedication and hard work will surely make India proud.”

The Federation continues to support and develop martial arts across the country, fostering talent and encouraging participation in international platforms to elevate India’s presence in the global martial arts community.
