HYDERABAD, BANGALORE, PUNJAB AND LUCKNOW SEAL SEMIFINAL BERTHS IN DEAF PREMIER LEAGUE

Hyderabad Eagles will clash with Bangalore Badshah while Punjab Lions are set to face Lucknow Giants in the semifinals of the 6th Deaf Indian Premier League 2025. The tournament is being organized by the Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA) in collaboration with the Cricket Association of the Deaf Chandigarh (CADC) at GMSSS-26.

Earlier, an all-round performance by Virender Singh powered Hyderabad Eagles to a six-wicket win over Delhi Bulls on Sunday. Batting first, Delhi Bulls posted 106/7 with Sanju Sharma remaining unbeaten on 34 off 20 balls. Virender Singh impressed with the ball, taking 4/14. In reply, Hyderabad Eagles chased down the target in the 10th over with contributions from Virja Kotle (29), Yuvraj Singh (28) and Virender Singh (21 off 8 balls).

In another match, Kolkata Warriors got the better of Chennai Blasters by 19 runs. After winning the toss, Kolkata posted 71/3, led by Piyush (22) and skipper Abhishek Singh (18). Abhishek then starred with the ball as well, claiming 4/1 to restrict Chennai to 52/6.

Meanwhile, Bangalore Badshah registered a six-wicket win over Punjab Lions. Batting first, Punjab Lions managed 75/8 with Amit Gaur top-scoring with 20 runs. In response, a blistering knock by Mani (40 off 20 balls) ensured Bangalore cruised to victory in the 9th over.

Semi finals will be followed by the final match which is scheduled at 2 pm on Monday. Sanjay Tandon, President, UT Cricket Association will grace the occasion as Chief Guest and felicitate the Champion and Runner Up teams.
