PROPERTIES OF FORMER EPFO OFFICER ATTACHED IN DISPROPORTIONATE ASSETS CASE

CBI Court, Ghaziabad issued an order on 27.06.2025 for the attachment of 02 properties of the then Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer, EPFO, Regional Office, Noida, in aDisproportionate Assets case.

CBI registered Disproportionate Assets case on  29.01.2024 against the then Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer, EPFO, Regional Office, Noida.Investigation revealed that the accused public servant had acquired Disproportionate Assets amounting to Rs. 86,37,603/- (153%) during the check period i.e. 01.10.2010 to 13.08.2020. It was also gathered that during the Check Period accused public servant had made investment in 02 immovable assets, i.e. 02 flats in Noida, beyond his known sources of income.  

Chargesheet in the instant case was filed on 20.12.2024 against the accused public servant. On the application of CBI, Ld. Special Judge, Anti Corruption, CBI, Ghaziabad Vide order dated 27.06.2025, issued ad-interim attachment order u/s 3 of Criminal Law Amendment Ordinance, 1944 for attachment of these properties
