Upholding the proud traditions of the Indian Army, troops of the Vajra Corps have embarked on a spirited two-week trekking expedition across the rugged Dhauladhar Ranges — from Bir in Kangra district to Manali, Himachal Pradesh.

The 10-member team from the Armoured Regiment of the Golden Arrow Division was flagged off on June 15, 2025, by Maj Gen Ranjeet Singh Manral, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding, Golden Arrow Division, from Ferozepur — the sacred soil of martyrs.

This challenging trek is a true test of physical endurance, mental resilience, and team spirit. Beyond adventure, the mission carries a deeper purpose — to inspire youth to embrace a career in the Indian Army, connect with veterans, and recount tales of unmatched courage during Operation SINDOOR. The expedition also contributes to the “Clean Himalayas” campaign, reinforcing the Army’s enduring commitment to environmental responsibility.
