Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday arrested accused Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), KV Sasaram, Bihar for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs. 32,000/- from the complainant.
A case was registered by CBI on 21.05.2025 against said accused on allegations that accused demanded a bribe of Rs.32,000/- from the complainant, Proprietor of private enterprise which a registered GEM supplier, for releasing his pending bill of Rs.1.92 Lakh.
CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs.32,000/- from the complainant. Subsequently, accused was arrested by CBI and will be produced before the CBI Court on 22.05.2025. Investigation is continuing.
