SOUTH WESTERN ARMY COMMANDER REVIEWS OPERATIONAL READINESS

Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command carried out a significant two-day visit to the Suratgarh Military Station in Sriganganagar. The visit focused on reviewing the operational preparedness and acknowledging the commendable performance during Operation Sindoor. 

During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed extensively on the current operational status, security protocols and the overall readiness of the formations and units. He expressed his satisfaction with the high standards of preparedness and the selfless dedication displayed by all personnel.

Lt Gen Maninder Singh also interacted with Air Force personnel of Suratgarh Air Force station. He lauded the exemplary professionalism and seamless coordination during Operation Sindoor. The Army Commander commended the joint planning and execution, which significantly contributed to the successful outcome of the mission.

He also took the opportunity to encourage the troops to maintain high standards of professionalism and continue their unwavering commitment to national security. He emphasised the importance of continuous adaptation to new technologies for countering the evolving security challenges.
