CBI APPREHENDS MEDICINE SPECIALIST OF DELHI’S BHAGWAN MAHAVIR HOSPITAL IN BRIBERY CASE

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended a Specialist (Medicine), Medicine Department, Nodal Officer Outsourcing, Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital, Pitampura, Delhi, and a Supervisor Nursing Orderly (Contractual), in a bribery case.

The CBI registered the instant case on 21.10.2026 against the accused Specialist (Medicine)of Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital, Pitampura Ranibagh, Delhi. It was alleged that the accused demanded bribe of Rs. One Lakh on the pretext of ensuring that the awarded tender was not cancelled, facilitating timely clearance of bills, and avoiding the raising of unnecessary red flags in the complainant’s file.

The CBI laid a trap on 21.10.2026 and caught the accused Specialist (Medicine), Medicine Department, Nodal Officer Outsourcing, Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital, Pitampura, Delhi while demanding and accepting Rs. 1,00,000 through the accused Supervisor Nursing Orderly (Contractual) from the complainant for ensuring the favour i.e. not cancelling the tender, timely clearance of bills and avoiding the raising of red flags in the complainant’s file. Both the accused persons have been apprehended.
