PEOPLE IN ABOHAR PAY TRIBUTE TO PAHALGAM MARTYRS

Citizens assembled at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk near Nehru Park Wednesday evening to condemn the massacre of innocent Indians in Pahalgam by terrorists. The participants lighted candles to express solidarity with the victim families and offered prayers for the deceased describing them martyrs in India.

(SUBHEAD)MLA Sandeep Jakhar condemned the terror attack in Pahalgam, calling it cowardly and against humanity. “This attack is not only inhuman but also hurts the unity and integrity of the country. He said that India is a religious and spiritual country where all religions and communities enjoy complete freedom. Still, some disruptive elements are conspiring to vitiate the atmosphere of the country.

He asked the central government and the Jammu and Kashmir administration to conduct a thorough probe into the attack and take strict action against the culprits. He paid tributes to those killed in the attack and wished speedy recovery to the injured passengers.

Mayor Vimal Thatai and councillors also participated in the prayer meeting.
