Former Speaker of Haryana Assembly Sh.Gian Chand Gupta held a press conference at Sector 1 PWD Rest House, Panchkula regarding the 13th Panchkula District Kabaddi for National Style Championship to be held in Barwala, Panchkula on 21st and 22nd December.
On this occasion, former Speaker of Haryana & Chairman of Sports Promotion Society, Panchkula, Shri Gian Chand Gupta along with all the members of the Sports Promotion Society, Panchkula released the poster of the 13th Panchkula Distt.Kabaddi Championship.
Giving information on this occasion, he said that Kabaddi Championship is being organized to encourage the youth in the village with the objective of 'Khel Khilao', 'Nasha Bhagao', 'Save Youth'. Giving information, Sports Promotion Society Chairman & former Assembly Speaker Sh Gian chand Gupta said that this championship will be organized at Government Middle School village Shyamtu located in Barwala, Panchkula. Championship will be organized on 21st & 22nd December.
(SUBHEAD)In this Kabaddi tournament, the winning team will be given a cash prize of Rs 51 thousand, the second placed team will be given Rs 31 thousand and the third placed team will be given a prize of Rs 21 thousand. He told that only the youth of Panchkula district will be able to participate in this Kabaddi Championship
The championship is being organized by Sports Promotion Society, Panchkula & Ashwani Gupta Memorial Trust, Panchkula. The purpose of this Kabaddi Championship is to encourage the youth of rural areas and keep them away from drugs. This Kabaddi Championship will be inaugurate by the Sports Minister of Haryana Sh.Gaurav Gautam on 21st December. Sh.Krishan Lal Panwar ,Development & Panchayat Minister of Haryana will be the Chief Guest of the closing / Prize Distributio ceremony on 22nd December.
Former Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Mr. Gyan Chand Gupta & Chairman of Sports Promtion Society , Panchkula will preside the boths opening & closing ceremony Function.
While giving information, press spokesperson Amarjitt Kumar said that in this championship the teams from only Panchkula district & a large number of youth will participate enthusiastically.
On this occasion, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta, President DP Soni, General Secretary N.D Sharma, Finance Secretary, Patron Sh.Bal Kishan Singla, Sh.Vinod Mittal , Virendra Mehta, Amit Gupta Jitender Mahajan, Devendra Rana, Yuvraj Kaushik, Narinder Rana, Amarjit Kumar and other members of Sports Promotion Society were also present.
