01 AUTOMATIC PISTOL LOADED WITH 02 LIVE ROUNDS, 01 SINGLE SHOT LOADED PISTOL ALONG-WITH 01 LIVE CARTRIDGE AND CAR USED IN THE COMMISSION OF CRIME RECOVERED.

Acting upon a secret information, a team of NR-I, Crime Branch arrested one accused namely Rajan Phour @ Mantri r/o Village Nangla Paar, PS – Sanoli, Distt – Panipat (HR), Age – 30 Yrs. 01 sophisticated automatic pistol, 01 single shot gun along-with 03 live cartridges was recovered from his possession. Accused is an active gangster and was wanted in case of attempt to murder registered at PS Sanoli (Panipat).
INFORMATION & TEAM:-A specific information was received by Ct Surender about movement of a gang member named Rajan @ Mantri who was the main accused and wanted in an attempt to murder case of PS Sanoli (Panipat). It was also informed that accused Rajan @ Mantri was carrying illegal weapons. On receipt of information, a team consisting HC Amit, HC Sonu, HC Trishpal and Ct Surender headed by Insp. Pankaj Thakran under supervision of Sh. Vivek Tyagi, ACP/NR-I, Crime Branch was constituted by undersigned to nab the accused person.
(SUBHEAD)Mr. Satish Kumar, DCP, Crime, said, on basis of information, a trap was laid near Gate No. 3, Japani Park, Rohini. One Mahendra Scorpio car was spotted there and the lone occupant in the car was pointed by the secret informer as Rajan @ Mantri. The team apprehended person namely Rajan @ Mantri, on frisking of the accused 01 automatic pistol was recovered from his possession. On checking, the pistol was found to be loaded with 02 live cartridges. Thereafter, the Scorpio car was properly searched and 01 loaded single shot pistol along-with 01 live cartridge was found hidden beneath the driver seat. A case under relevant sections was registered.
INCIDENT OF PS SANOLI (PANIPAT): Accused Rajan Phour @ Mantri had property dispute with his uncle named Azad residing in the same village. Azad is also previously involved in criminal cases. A few days ago, Azad hurled abuses and insulted mother of accused Rajan @ Mantri. Enraged with insult of his mother, Rajan @ Mantri vowed to take revenge. On 23.06.2024, in late evening, Azad was returning to village Nangla Paar in his car. Rajan @ Mantri along with his associates opened fire at Azad’s. One of the bullets pierced through the car and hit Azad in waist. Notwithstanding, Azad continued driving and reached his house, dodging Rajan @ Mantri, who was tailing him. Azad was taken to hospital by his family members where he was treated for gunshot injuries.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED:- Accused Rajan Phour @ Mantri is a state level boxer. One of his uncles was in jail in a murder case. Accused came in contact with gangsters through his uncle. He had helped staying gangsters during their “Pherari” at his house. He had also helped gangsters in getting passport with fake name from his home address. He had fled to Dubai and came back to India, started his Finance business and became a partner in liquor shop.
PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENTS:- Accused Rajan @ Mantri is previously involved in 04 cases of attempt to murder, abduction, other heinous cases of Haryana.
