02 ILLEGAL SEMI AUTOMATIC LOADED PISTOLS AND 03 LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED.

A team of Special Cell/Northern Range & STF, led by Inspr. Krishan Kumar and Insp. Rakesh Kumar under the close supervision of Shri Rahul Kumar Singh, ACP Northern Range has arrested two members of Himanshu @ Bhau gang namely (i) Rohit s/o Jaswant r/o Vill Bithla, Jhajjar, Haryana (age 25 yrs) and (ii) Rambir s/o Umed Singh r/o Vill Ladpur, Jhajjar, Haryana (age-38 yrs). One Semi Automatic Pistol loaded with 03 Live Cartridges was recovered from possession of accused Rohit, whereas one Semi-Automatic pistol was recovered from possession of accused Rambir.
In view of the increasing use of firearms in recent crimes reported in Delhi NCR, Special Cell, Delhi Police launched special drive against activities of various gang members using illegal firearms. Concerted efforts made in this regard yielded results in arresting several such active gang members of Delhi & NCR.
Further, dedicated teams were deployed to collect intelligence about members of Himanshu @ Bhau gang, involved in the incidents of threat, extortion and murders. In its efforts, the team of Northern Range identified a member of Himanshu @ Bhau gang.
It was found that gangster Himanshu @ Bhau is operating his gang from abroad and mobilizing his associates to arrange arms, ammunition and transportation vehicles for foot soldiers working for his syndicate. An input was received that on the instruction of Rambir, a key gang member of Himanshu @ Bhau syndicate, Rohit managed the supply of arms & ammunition to foot soldiers going to commit any crime on the behest of Himanshu @ Bhau.
Mr. Manoj C., IPS, DCP , Special Cell (NR & SWR), said, on working on this input, on 31.05.24, the team succeeded in apprehending Rohit above with one Semi Automatic Pistol loaded with 03 Live Cartridges. A case was registered under relevant provisions of Law and investigation was taken up. During further investigation, another member of Himanshu @ Bhau gang namely Rambir was arrested with one Semi Automatic Pistol.
KNOW THE ACCUSED: Accused Rohit resides in his village with his mother, brother and wife. He lost his father in his childhood. He passed 12th class from Mubarakpur, Jhajjar, Haryana. He left his studies and starting searching for a job but, he could not find any suitable job. He came in contact with one Bunty and got involved in criminal activities leading to his arrest in two cases of attempt to murder. While in jail, he got in touch with members of Himanshu @ Bhau gang and after getting out from jail, he got in touch with accused Rambir, another associate of Bhau gang. On the instructions of gangster Himanshu @ Bhau, he got a consignment of illegal weapons(pistols) from accused Rambir for delivering to other gang members.

(SUBHEAD) Accused Rambir resides in his village with his family. He has studied upto10th class from Govt school in his village and did 12th from open school. He left his studies and got engaged in agriculture. He then left it and got a contract of supplying labour to a company near his village for loading/unloading work. One Monu of village Badli also started the same business and there were skirmishes between Monu and accused Rambir.
Rambir was already in touch with Himanshu @ Bhau and his other associates. After that, in the year 2022, accused Rambir along with other associates of Himanshu @ Bhau murdered Monu in the area of PS Badli. After release from Jhajjar jail in the year 2024, he again got in touch with gangster Himanshu @ Bhau and on the instructions of gangster Himanshu @ Bhau, he received a large consignment of illegal weapons(pistols) and delivered the same to the accused Rohit. These weapons were to be delivered to other gang members.
