FINE QUALITY HEROIN WORTH RS. 55 LAC SEIZED.

To keep a check on the international drugs supply chain and to curb the supply of psychotropic substances in Delhi, a team of WR-II Crime Branch has busted an international drugs syndicate and arrested two Nigerian Nationals living in Delhi and recovered commercial quantity of Heroin.
A secret information about the Heroine (Psychotropic substance) was received by HC Ashwin. Sensing the urgency of the matter a team Headed by Insp. Akshay consisting of SI Rahul, SI Ravi, SI Manoj, HC Ashwani, HC Vinod, HC Sandeep, HC Sandeep, HC Sushil, HC Devender and W/CT Manisha, W/CT Preeti under the supervision of Sh. Yashpal Singh, ACP/WR-II was constituted by the undersigned to nab drug peddlers.
(SUBHEAD)Mr.Satish Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch, said the team laid tarp at Maidangarhi, Delhi. The team worked relentlessly and after careful surveillance, the team apprehended two accused persons namely Armid r/o Imegia Street Delta Nigeria age 27 years and Salif r/o Treichville Abidjan, Ivoirienne De Cote D’ivoire age 40 years and fine quality Heroine worth 55 Lakhs was recovered from them. On the basis of recovery, a case vide FIR No. 106/24, U/s 8/21/29 NDPS ACT, got registered at PS Crime Branch and the accused persons were arrested.
PROFILE AND ROLE OF ACCUSED:
Accused persons Armid and Salif neither have valid passport nor Visa. They are residing in India illegally and were involved in drugs trafficking activities.
RECOVERY:-Total 550 Gms of Heroine worth around Rs 55Lacs in international market.
