“WE HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT.”

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Tantia University Sriganganagar honored a dozen people and organizations who made continuous efforts to protect the environment, by giving them 'Vriksh Mittar Samman'. 

Rajkumar Jain, Senior Relationship Officer of the University, said that under the direction of the Vice Chairman of the University, Dr. Mohit Tantia, continuous participation is being made in protecting the environment. 

Municipal Council Chairperson Gagandeep Kaur and Dr. Suraj Singh Negi senior RAS officer honored the environment lovers. Dr. Negi said that environmental protection is not the job of any one person. For this we all will have to work together. This earth has survived only because of environmental activists who work without any selfishness.

MC chief Gagandeep Kaur said that it is the duty of every human being to protect the environment. We should always help to stop pollution. Let us plant as many trees as possible, water them and then they will protect us by becoming trees. 

On the occasion, saplings were also planted in the university campus. 

Devendra Mittal of Ashadeep Sanstha, Sumesh Sharma and Mukesh Sethi of Vriksh Oxygen Bank, Advocate Arman Setia of Map of Happiness, District President of Amrita Devi Environment Protection Committee Naresh Charaya, Vishwa Bandhu Gupta, Ranger Santosh Kumar, Councillor Bunty Valmiki, Raju Saini, Shyamsundar Leela, Rahul Jain, Rakesh Goyal and Ajay Jhunthra of Ek Prayas organization and Khetpal Swami were given 'Vriksha Mitra Samman'
