DELHI POLICE BUSTED NEET PAPER SOLVER GANG , FOUR AMONG TWO MBBS STUDENTS ARRESTED

In a major crackdown on cheating in NEET 2024, the Special Staff of New Delhi District has arrested four individuals involved in a paper-solving racket. The arrested include two MBBS students from government medical colleges, along with the individuals who facilitated their participation in the scheme. Four mobile phones and one car were seized during the operation.

The incident took place on 05.05.2024, when two students were caught with mismatched biometric data during the NEET exam at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan Mehta Vidyalaya in New Delhi. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 42/24, under section 419/420/468/471/34 IPC was registered at PS Tilak Marg and the alleged proxy students Sumit Mandoliya & Krishan Kesarwani, were arrested.

Given the seriousness of the offense, the case was transferred to the Special Staff, New Delhi District. A dedicated team led by Inspr. Sanjay Kumar Gupta including SI Praveen Kumar, SI Parbhat Sharma, SI Ashwani Goswami, SI Abhay, ASI Rajesh, ASI Sunil Kumar, ASI Bijender Singh, ASI Mohan Singh, HC Amit Kumar, HC Radha Kishan, HC Ravinder Kumar, HC Virender, HC Manoj, HC Lalit, HC Sandeep, HC Amarjeet, Ct Atam, Ct Shiv Kumar and Ct Deepak was formed to solve the case. The team functioned under the supervision of Sh. Mahesh Chand Meena, ACP/Operations, New Delhi District.

OPERATION: The team was divided into two units and spearheaded by Inspr. Sanjay Kumar Gupta. One team used technical surveillance to locate the accused while the second team embarked on a series of raids across Delhi, Alwar, Jaipur, and Noida. These raids were based on intelligence gleaned from the technical surveillance.

(SUBHEAD)Mr.Devesh Kumar Mahla,  IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, said, on sustained interrogation, Sumit Mandoliya & Krishan Kesarwani revealed the names of their handlers, and the team successfully identified the key figures in the operation: Prabhat Kumar and Kishor Lal. However, apprehending them proved challenging. These individuals, aware of the police hunt, kept changing their locations to evade capture.

The determined team didn't relent and through tireless investigation and tracking, they finally pinpointed the accused in a Noida hotel. The relentless efforts of the team paid off and the team managed to apprehend Prabhat Kumar and Kishor Lal involved in the scam. This crucial breakthrough led to their swift arrest.

Further investigation of the case is underway.

KNOW THE ACCUSED: 

Kishor Lal: He is 27 years of age & resident of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. While working as a medical school admissions consultant, the accused identified top-performing students. He then offered them money in an apparent attempt to manipulate the admissions process.

Prabhat Kumar: He is 37 years of age & resident of Patna, Bihar. The accused previously operated a coaching academy in Patna, Bihar.

Sumit Mandoliya: Originally from Jaipur, Rajasthan, he is currently a second year MBBS student at a Medical College in West Bengal.

Krishan Kesarwani: A resident of Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, he is currently in his first year of MBBS studies at a Medical College in Uttarakhand.
