TRIPURA TOOK THE FIRST INNING LEAD OF 82 RUNS, UT BOYS FIGHT BACK WITH 112/0

Tripura took the lead of 82 runs against UT boys in their first inning during the third day of the Ranji Trophy match being played at the Cricket Stadium, Sector 16 on Sunday. Tripura was all out for 438 against the Chandigarh’s first innings of 356. Visitors while resuming their overnight score of 187/4 added another 251 in their total of first innings. Mura Singh (94) was the top scorer while Ganesh Satish scored 88 runs. Wriddhiman Saha (66) and Debnath (64) also scored half-centuries. Gurinder Singh (4/117) took maximum wickets for homeside Chandigarh.

In reply, unbeaten Shivam Bhambri (61) and Arsalan Khan (49) gave a cautious start as Chandigarh scored 116/0 before the stumps were drawn.
