DR. RAJESH KUMAR MAHAJAN ELECTED PU SENATOR FOR THIRD TIME

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mahajan, Principal, DAV College, Abohar has been elected as Panjab University Senator from the Principals Constituency. While counting for the Graduates Constituency was still in progress, results for the Principals Constituency have been declared. Dr. Mahajan has been elected for the third term from this very constituency.

The college campus was filled with joy and celebrations as Dr. Mahajan reached here today afternoon. He was warmly welcomed with garlands and bouquets by the staff and students not only from his but other colleges in the campus also. He described it as a win of the DAV fraternity and his friendly principals. Sweets were distributed and tea served on the occasion.

People recalled that under Dr. Mahajan’s able leadership, the D.A.V. College, Abohar has scaled heights in academic and extra-mural activities besides providing a wide platform to youths in job placement. India Today 2025 places the college 78th in Commerce and 81st in Arts among undergraduate colleges across India, putting it among the top 100 in both streams nationwide.
