On the occasion of World Environment Day, SSP Ferozepur Bhupinder Singh Sidhu visited the Press Club Ferozepur and participated in a special tree plantation drive. Emphasizing the importance of a clean and healthy environment, he stated that preserving nature should be everyone's foremost duty.

(MOREPIC1)    The SSP shared that Ferozepur Police, in collaboration with the Press Club, has launched a campaign to plant more trees and purify the environment. Members of the Press Club also actively took part in the plantation drive.

Addressing the gathering, SSP said that a clean environment is essential not only for individuals and their families but also for the well-being of the entire society. “By planting more trees and ensuring a pollution-free atmosphere, we can promote both physical health and positive mental well-being,” he remarked. He warned about the increasing environmental pollution and the surge in severe health problems as a result, urging everyone to take proactive steps in protecting nature.

DSP City Ferozepur Sukhwinder Singh was also present during the event. Press Club President Mandeep Kumar Monty underlined the collective responsibility of society in maintaining an eco-friendly environment. “We must make environmental cleanliness a top priority. This can only be achieved if the entire community comes together to plant and nurture trees,” he said.

As a gesture of gratitude, Press Club Ferozepur presented mementoes to SSP Bhupinder Singh Sidhu and DSP Sukhwinder Singh. The ceremony concluded with all members taking a pledge to contribute towards environmental conservation.
