HEALTH DEPTT HONOURS STAR DONORS

The Health Department honoured star donors at a function organised at the Abohar Sub-division Civil Hospital.

Chief guest Dr. Rohit Goyal, Assistant Civil Surgeon, said that this year’s theme was “Give Blood, Give Hope: Together We Save Lives”.

(SUBHEAD)Dr. Goyal honored the blood donation societies, voluntary organizations and star donors of Abohar with certificates. He appealed to the people to donate their blood to contribute to this noble cause. Dr Sanman Mazi and Dr Gagandeep Singh were among those present.

Dr. Dikshi Babbar, Blood Transfusion Officer (BTO), said that blood donation societies and star donors have been coming to donate blood on the first call of the Health Department even before. She thanked all the donors and social organizations for their support in saving lives. At this time, Vinod Khurana, District Mass Media Officer, Manbir Singh, Deputy Mass Media Officer, Tehal Singh and Shamsher Singh also shared information with the gathering.
