MRSAFPI CELEBRATES EXCELLENCE: 24 DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI HONOURED WITH ACHIEVER AWARDS

The Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (MRSAFPI) in SAS Nagar celebrated the achievements of its distinguished alumni by honouring those who have been commissioned into the Defence Forces and graduates from the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other services training academies with prestigious Achiever Awards. The ceremony was presided over by Major General BS Grewal, VSM (Retd), Founder Director and Governing Body Member of the Institute. 

The Achiever Award ceremony saw 24 distinguished ex-AFPIans, with eight of them being recently commissioned into the Indian Armed Forces in May/June 2025. 

(SUBHEAD)Major General BS Grewal extended his congratulations to the successful cadets, noting that their training at MRSAFPI would provide a solid launchpad for their careers. He wished the NDA graduates all the best for their future training and acknowledged the dedication of the AFPI faculty in achieving outstanding outcomes.

Sharing the Institute’s notable achievements, MRSAFPI Director Major General Ajay H. Chauhan, VSM (Retd), informed that 255 cadets joined NDA and other equivalent training academies and 178 commissioned officers in defence services so far. With 15 cadets already receiving joining letters for NDA/equivalent training and 11 more awaiting, the Institute continues to thrive under the Punjab Government's leadership, Major General Chauhan emphasised the MRSAFPI's pivotal role as a feeder institution for the Armed Forces, yielding exceptional results nationwide.
