On the fifth day of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB-I) Camp, hosted by 25 Punjab Battalion NCC Abohar under PHHP&C Directorate/Ludhiana Group at NCC Academy, Malout, the cadets participated in the Tableaux making competition.

They used innovative ideas to depict various cultures and traditions using waste materials. The cadets showed their talent and described the theme of the Tableaux they prepared and how they reflected their state culture. Further the 450 cadets from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, and Uttarakhand were divided into two groups for enriching excursions that highlighted cultural and patriotic experiences.

The first group visited the revered Shri Muktsar Gurdwara in Muktsar, immersing themselves in the rich spiritual and historical significance of the site. The second group toured the War Memorial at Asafwala, Fazilka, paying tribute to the sacrifices of Indian soldiers. They also witnessed the iconic Beating Retreat Ceremony at the Sadiqi Border BSF Post. It was an especially memorable experience for the cadets from Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana.

The day’s activities filled the cadets with excitement and enthusiasm, fostering a deeper appreciation for India’s diverse cultural heritage and national pride. The camp continues to strengthen bonds among cadets through shared experiences, promoting the spirit of Unity in Diversity.
