BSKC NSS UNIT ORGANISES BLOOD DONATION CAMP

A blood donation camp was organized by the Civil Hospital, Abohar, on the initiative of the NSS Unit at Bhag Singh Khalsa College for Women, Kala Tibba, Abohar. College Chairman Gurlal Singh Brar Fattanwala was the chief guest.

College staff and students participated enthusiastically and with a spirit of social service. The blood donation camp was inaugurated by College Principal Dr. Harpreet Kaur Aulakh and NSS Incharge Dr. Baljeet Kaur Sidhu by donating blood. The Civil Hospital team supervised the event under the command of Dr. Sukhmani Samra (VTO), Naresh Suthar (MLT), Staff Nurse Surmita Rani, Counsellor Krishna Mujetha, Kuldeep Kumar and Pawan Kumar.

Blood donation certificates were awarded to the participants who donated blood. Mementos were presented to the Civil Hospital team. On successful completion of this activity, Chairman Gurlal Singh Brar Fattanwala, Principal Dr. Harpreet Kaur Aulakh encouraged NSS Incharge Dr. Baljeet Kaur Sidhu, her colleague Dr. Virender Kaur and the volunteers to carry out similar social work in future.
