Indus Super Speciality Hospital, Phase 1, Mohali, has achieved another significant milestone in cancer treatment by opening a new state-of-the-art facility in the Radiation Therapy Department. This initiative is a major step towards providing advanced, effective, and accessible medical services to cancer patients in the region. The department is led by Dr. Kamalpreet Grewal (Radiation Oncologist).

The Medical Oncology Department is led by Dr. G.S. Chaudhary, while the Surgical Oncology Department is under the guidance of Dr. Ashwin Kalyanpuri. To mark the launch of the new facility, the Advanced Medical Education Department of Indus Hospital, in collaboration with the Punjab Medical Council and IMA Mohali, organized a CME (Continuing Medical Education) program. Doctors from various medical departments and senior specialists from several superspecialties participated enthusiastically.

(SUBHEAD)Punjab Women Commission Chairperson Mrs. Raj Lali Gill attended the programme as the chief guest and encouraged the cancer survivors by honouring them.

During the program, experts discussed modern radiation therapy techniques, their uses, and the benefits they offer cancer patients. Doctors stated that this new facility will provide patients in the Tricity and surrounding areas with access to world-class cancer treatment within their own city, eliminating the need to travel to distant cities.

Indus Hospital has always been committed to providing its patients with sensitivity, dedication, and excellent medical care. This new initiative further strengthens the hospital's vision of ensuring every patient receives quality and accessible healthcare under the supervision of experienced specialists.
