Indian captain and India number one Pawan Kapoor of CITCO won the prestigious ITF Masters world series tennis championship 700, held in Indore from 3rd November,2025 to 8th November, 2025 at Indore tennis club,Indore.
Kapoor defeated his arch rival Mr Ram Kumar Prasad of Indian railways 6-1, 6-1 in one sided affair in the Men’s 55+ Singles finals. Ram Kumar who’s world railway champion was off colour today and could not match lanky Pawan in final , Pawan Kapoor who captained India at world championship at Portugal was unstoppable with his bullet service n classic ground strokes with sudden attack on net thrashed Ram in finals.
Kapoor was up 5-0 in both sets n conceded only one game in each set n retained the Men’s 55 singles title.Pawn Kapoor earned 700 ITF points with this win which will help him to improve his world ranking,kapoor’s highest ranking is 17th in the world.Pawan Kapoor conceded only 6 games in the whole championship n remains unbeaten in India since 2022.
Mr Pawan Kapoor of Citco partnered with Mr Chandra Bhushan and defeated Mr Raj Dutt and Dipanker 6-4,6-1 in the Men’s 55+ doubles to complete double crown at ITF Masters 700 tennis championship at Indore.Pawan Kapoor also won ITF masters 400 World Series championship at Moradabad last week.Pawan Kapoor thanks his employer for extending help to participate in these championships to bring laurels for CITCO and India.
