Sapta Shakti Command organised a mega Blood Donation Camp at Military Hospital Jaipur as a prelude to the Army Day 2026 celebrations. The event was held under the theme ‘Donate Blood, Salute the Nation’, highlighting the Armed Forces’ commitment to humanitarian service and welfare.

The event was inaugurated by Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command, who commended the volunteers for their enthusiastic participation. In his address, he mentioned that blood donation is not only a voluntary and selfless act but also a gift of life to human beings struggling in various stages of illness. He appreciated the overwhelming response to the initiative, reflecting the spirit of compassion and solidarity that defines the Armed Forces and Citizen Warriors. He exhorted all citizens & combatants to continue the noble act & strengthen the bridge between Armed Forces & citizens.

The blood donation-drive also strengthened Military-Civil cooperation, with active participation from organisations such as the Akhil Bhartiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad and SMS Hospital, Jaipur, who extended their whole hearted support to this mega event.

A total of 572 donors, including service personnel, civilians and NCC cadets from NCC Group Headquarters, participated and pledged to donate blood, which will significantly support critical medical needs and emergency care.
