The CBI Court, Ahmedabad, on Tuesday has convicted and sentenced the accused private persons, namely, Balmukund Mithailal Dubey, Dharmesh J. Dhairya and Alpesh Ashwinbhai Thakkar to Three Years Imprisonment with a fine of Rs. 50,000 each, in a bank fraud case.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered the instant case on 15.12.2009 against Jayesh K. Prajapati and unknown Vijaya Bank Officers/officials. It was alleged that the accused Jayesh K. Investigation established that the accused Jayesh Prajapati, Alpesh Thakkar, Balmukund Dubey and Dharmesh Dhariya had created false and forged documents and used such documents as genuine in order to obtain bank loan and also opened fictitious account to siphon all such amounts in order to cheat the Vijaya Bank. Investigation revealed that the outstanding amount in the above said loan account is approximately Rs.7,85,109 including the non-paid instalments and interest there on.
