CIVIL DEFENCE TRAINING ORGANIZED AT DAV COLLEGE ABOHAR

Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mahajan, the NSS unit of DAV College Abohar organized a training and capacity building camp for students in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

The workshop was conducted under the guidance of DGP Punjab Home Guard, Sanjeev Kalra, Controller Civil Defence Fazilka, DC Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu, and District Commander-cum-Additional Controller Civil Defence, Gurlavdeep Grewal, with the cooperation of the NDRF Bathinda unit.

The camp provided students with essential and important techniques for dealing with emergency situations and assisting others, with the aim of saving as many lives as possible in such situations. Inspector Jaipal from NDRF provided students with valuable information. The students participated in the workshop with great enthusiasm and resolved their queries by asking several relevant questions.

Superintendent Civil Defence, Parminder Singh Bath, familiarized the students with the working style and importance of Civil Defence. Finally, Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mahajan honored all the guests and expressed his hope that the students would have benefited from this event and that this knowledge would be useful to them in their future lives.

Dr. Rajesh Khatri, Dr. Suresh Sharma, NSS In-charge Sanjeev Kumar Gumber, Dr. Ashutosh, Amandeep, and other teachers from the college, along with Company Commander Aneesh Gupta, Master Trainer Sandeep Kamboj, and Manjit Singh were present.
