ATHLETICS SPORTS MEET ORGANIZED BY MAA TARA WELFARE FOUNDATION FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED STUDENTS

Maa Tara Welfare Foundation organized an Athletics Sports Meet for underprivileged boys and girls at the Sports Complex, Sector 46. The Foundation’s President, R. B. Roy, and Secretary, Suvendu Mishra, informed that 212 students participated in various sports activities conducted under the supervision of athletics coaches.

In the 50-meter race (girls under 12 years), Sonakshi secured first place, Asha came second, and Bhavya stood third. In the 50-meter race (boys under 12 years), Chaman took first place, Sunny was second, and Nikhil came third.

In the 100-meter race (boys under 15 years), Ansh won first place, Avinash secured second, and Yuvraj came third. In the 50-meter race (girls under 15 years), Drishti bagged the first position, Shivani came second, and Nandini finished third.

In the sack race (boys under 12 years), Sonu secured first place, Nagendra came second, and Arpit finished third; while in the spoon race (girls under 12 years), Priya came first, Archana second, and Simran third.

In the long jump (boys under 15 years), Yuvraj stood first, Husnapreet Singh second, and Shivam Rawat third; while in the long jump (girls under 15 years), Palak won first place, Pinky came second, and Nandini third.

All participants who secured first, second, and third positions were awarded certificates of appreciation and prizes. The President of the Foundation announced that the winners will be felicitated with awards at the Foundation’s annual mega charity event on March 15 at Jai-Jai Charitable Trust, Lakshmi Narayan Mandir, Sector 44.
