Sh. Sanjay Kumar Sachdeva, Permanent Lok AdalAT ( Public Utility Services) in place of Ms. Shyama Dogra for five years or attaining the age of 65 years.
Notification in this regard have been issued.
Mr. Sanjay Sachdeva is 1991 passout of P.C.S.(Judicial ) services examination . His first posting as Judicial Magistrate was at Bathinda in June 1992.
Thereafter he served on various posts such as Judicial Magistrate, Chief Judicial Magistrate and thereafter as Additional Distt. And Sessions Judge at Various Station of Punjab during this tenure.He also served as OSD(legal) before the Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court at Chandigarh for about one year before his transfer as Additional Distt. and Sessions Judge at Patiala.(SUBHEAD)
Mr. Sanjay Sachdeva remained at Patiala for about two and half year before his retirement on dated 30-9-2021 from Patiala. After retirement he was selected as Chairman of Public Lok Adalat at Fazilka, by the Punjab State Legal Services Authority, due to his fair style of imparting justice to the litigants.He has also served as Chairman of Public Lok Adalat at Fategarh Sahib also.
Now the U.T. Legal Services Authority has appointed Mr. Sachdeva as Chairman of Public Lok Adalat cum Public Utility Services at Chandigarh and has taken the charge today. He has already served the U.T. as Additional Distt. and Sessions Judge , in Distt. Courts at Chandigarh also.
