In the “Kala-Mahotsav” 2022-23 organized by the Education Department Punjab, Abohar’s Neha Kamboj has demonstrated exemplary talent during the Zonal Festival held at Muktsar in which students from five districts participated. Neha is a Class X student in Govt Sr. Sec. School, village Diwankhera.
Neha Kamboj's solo play 'Amrita Pritam' won the first prize and was selected for the national level competition. In the same competition, Vishant's solo play 'Shaheed Udham Singh' got second place while Payal Suthar got third place in 2D painting competition.
Renowned actor and director Deepak Kamboj said that on the selection of Neha, District Education Officer Sukhbir Singh Bal, Deputy District Education Officer Pankaj, BLO Kashmiri Lal and Principal Vijay Kumar have conveyed her good wishes for next competitions. Head teacher Deepika and staff also congratulated the winners.
