310 PATIENTS EXAMINED AT FREE MEDICAL CAMP

The Lions Club Akash on Sunday organised a free eye check-up camp in the memory of Sohan Lal Arora, with the help of his sons Sham Lal Arora and Raj Kumar Arora, at the Navyug Senior Secondary School in Indira Nagari.

MLA Sandeep Kumar Jakhar was the chief guest, Municipal Corporation Mayor Vimal Thatai presided over the opening ceremony. Puneet Arora, Kiran Arora, Akash Arora, Sonia Arora welcomed the guests on behalf of the organisers.

Jakhar said that the continuous efforts being taken by the club to help people having eyesight problems was commendable. He said that there is no greater social service than this and all institutions should come forward to do such things. The club officials said that today about 310 patients were examined by the team of doctors, out of which 36 patients were selected for operation. Eye operations will be done at Jaitu.
