NATIONAL SEMINAR ON NEW EDUCATION POLICY HELD

On behalf of the Faculty of Education at Tantia University, a national seminar was held on the topic of New Education Policy 2020. Vice Chancellor, Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer Prof. Anil Shukla was the chief guest. IASE University Sardarshahar Pro-Chancellor Prof. D. Mohan, Dr. Aruna Anchal, Dean, Faculty of Education, Baba Mastnath University, Rohtak, Dr. Sushila Narang, Principal Kenway College, Tantia University President Prof. M. M. Saxena also expressed their views.

Some speakers said that the new education policy was necessary to change the old structure of education. While discussing the merits and drawbacks of the policy, the method of teaching during the time of Ram Rajya was also remembered. Along with education, the need to impart knowledge of culture and increase the importance of mother tongue was also mentioned.

The seminar started with lighting traditional lamps. Convener Dr. Rajinder Godara welcomed and Organizing Secretary Dr. Rekha Soni expressed gratitude. Tantia University Executive Director KS Sukhdev, Registrar Dr. Vinod Sharma, Deputy Registrar Rakesh Verma and Dr. Anil Bishnoi, Assistant Research Director Dr. Ritu Bala, Deans of various faculties and students were present. Dr. Anita Redu and Dr. Sangeeta Agarwal coordinated.
