On 02/11/2022, staff of an NGO “Empowering Humanity” reported at PS Dwarka North about the missing/abduction of five Uzbek National women. The NGO representative stated that on 25th August 2022, seven Uzbek national women were rescued by them from human trafficking and handed over to them by officials of Uzbekistan Embassy. A case was registered at Chankayapuri Police Station in this regard at that time. The NGO was keeping five of the women in their “shelter home” in a flat in a society in Dwarka, New Delhi.
On 28/10/2022 at about 10:00 AM, when the flat gates were opened, five Uzbek women aged between 18-37 years were found missing. As per the statement of the complainant a case FIR U/s 365 IPC, PS Dwarka North was registered. (SUBHEAD)
Keeping in the view the sensitivity of the matter, Spl Staff, Dwarka district was tasked to trace the allegedly abducted women. DCP Dwarka district M Harsha Vardhan constituted a special team led by Insp Naveen Kumar comprising SI Bahadur, ASI Anil Kumar, HC Sandeep, HC Dev Kumar, HC Dev Prakash, HC Vijender, HC Ajay, W/HC Mamta, W/HC Manoj under the supervision of ACP/Ops Ram Avtar to trace the women.
Mr. M. Harsha Vardhan, IPS, DCP, Dwarka, said, the team interrogated various suspects and carried out detailed technical analysis. Raids were conducted in Delhi and NCR in order to track the women on the basis of leads. On the basis of detailed technical analysis, team zeroed in on some suspects. Finally, team got an information that one Sabina @ Axmedura Gulsunoy and her husband Ullubek had taken these five women with them.
Further, the whereabouts of Sabina and Ullubek was traced to Greater Noida. Both Sabina and her husband Ullubek were interrogated at length and the missing women were recovered from a flat in Neb Sarai PS area.
Their medical examination has been conducted. Their statements have been recorded in the court through a translator. They have alleged that they were not given proper food in the NGO and did not like the conditions there so they left on their own.
