BUSINESSMAN OF PANIPAT ROBBED IN THE YEAR 2019, ACCUSED WAS ABSCONDING SINCE 2019

A team of NR-II, Crime Branch has arrested a desperate robber namely Suraj, 25 years R/o CD Park, Jahangir Puri, Delhi, wanted in a sensational case of robbery of Rs. 3.75 Crore reported at PS Chandni Bagh, Panipat, Haryana.
On 24.05.2019, one Sh. Joginder Goel, having business of blankets in Panipat, reported to PS Chandni Bagh, Panipat, Haryana that, some boys entered into his office at Anaj Mandi, Panipat and robbed cash Rs. 3.75 crore on gunpoint.
A case Vide FIR No. 533/19, u/s 379-B/120B/34 IPC, PS Chandni Bagh, Panipat was registered.
Mr.Ravindra Singh Yadav, IPS Special Commissioner of Police Crime, , said, during the course of investigation, it was revealed that employees of the complainant namely Santosh Kumar @ Raman (Munsi) and Sudhir (driver) were involved in the robbery and both of them were arrested by the local police. During interrogation, accused Sudhir disclosed that he and his nephew namely Sachin and other associates namely Narender @ Chotu, Sultan, Joginder @ Jogga, Kanhaiya, Aman, Ajay and Suraj were involved in the crime.(SUBHEAD)
During the course of investigation, accused Narender @ Chotu, Kanhiya, Sultan, and Aman were arrested and accused Joginder @ Joga, Ajay and Suraj were absconding.
ASI Sunil Kumar of NR-II, Crime Branch, Sec-18, Rohini got a secret information about a desperate criminal wanted in a case of robbery of Rs. 3.75 Crore reported at PS Chandni Bagh, Panipat, Haryana. The information was developed and a team headed by Inspr. Sandeep Swami comprising of SI Sukhvinder, ASI Sunil, ASI Kulbhusan, ASI Anil and Ct Sumit under the close supervision of Sh. Surender Kumar Gulia, ACP/NR-II was constituted by Sh. Vichitra Veer, DCP/Crime.
Based on the information, a trap was laid near Golf Course, Bhalswa Dairy, Delhi and accused Suraj, 25 Yrs R/o CD Park, Jahangir Puri, Delhi. He was interrogated at length. At first, he misled the police team but on sustained interrogation, he confessed his involvement in a case of robbery of Rs. 3.75 Crore reported in PS Chandani Bagh, Panipat, Haryana.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED SURAJ:
Accused Suraj was born and brought up at Jahangir Puri, Delhi. He was working as a trainer in a Gym at Jahangir Puri, Delhi. His uncle namely Narender @ Chotu has already been arrested in that case.
