The Mohali Police has registered an FIR against the Directors and other senior employees of Pearce Services Global (P) Ltd, a subsidiary of Pearce Services LLC, USA for fraud, criminal breach of trust and forgery.
The case, has been filed against Prabjot Khosla (Director), Akash Vashisht, General Manager, Arvind Bhatia IT Head, Shalini Sharma HR Manager and other employees for cheating and financial irregularities, under sections 408, 420, 465,467,468,471 and 120 B. The case was filed on a complaint by the MD and CEO of Kimoha Technologies Ltd who alleged that Pearce Services fraudulently took over his company.
All the alleged accused were employees of Kimoha Technologies during the time when this alleged conspiracy was hatched. The role of two foreign Directors of the newly formed subsidiary Mr. Michael Wolf and Benjamin Crick in the whole matter is also being investigated. Tarun Sadana, MD cum CEO of the complainant company Kimoha, has alleged that certain employees of Kimoha Technologies colluded with his clients Pearce Services and incorporated the new subsidiary company on 4th April 2022,at the address of Kimoha Technologies in Bestech Towers Mohali without his knowledge and permission. The property was on lease with the complainant since 2019 March.(SUBHEAD)
Mr. Prabjot Khosla,, became a Director of the new company while still being on rolls of Kimoha Technologies and while drawing salary from Kimoha. The alleged accused used the office address of Kimoha for getting registration of the new subsidiary company with ESI and PF authorities as well.
The complainant has also alleged that a fake Board Meeting was shown as having being held on 12th May 2022 at the Kimoha address in Mohali. A board resolution has also been allegedly passed and signed by two foreign Directors of the subsidiary at the Mohali address of the complainant at a time when neither of them was in India.
Other financial irregularities allegedly done by Akash Vashisht and Prabjot Khosla include procurement of costly equipment and hardware by ordering these at their residence addresses. The police is investigating the matter and is on the lookout for the accused persons.
