BJP Sikh leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa today lashed out at Bhagwant Mann led AAP Government of Punjab and Delhi CM and AAP Covener Arvind Kejriwal for allowing Christian missionaries to organize events for religious conversion and said that such even at pious land of Chamkaur Sahib is most unfortunate which has taken place because Bhagwant Mann and Kejriwal were mum for sake of votes.
In a statement released here today, Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that it was shocking to note that one Raman Hans organized a big event for religious conversion at pious land of Chamkaur Sahib where elder sons of Guru Gobind Singh had laid down their lives but had not accept religious conversion. Similarly younger Sahibzadas too laid down their lives at Fatehgarh Sahib but didn’t agreed for conversion.(SUBHEAD)
He said that it was more shocking to see that certain Sikhs were wearing turbans at the event and were behaving like that they have been converted to Christianity with orders of Jesus.
Asking Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal to not to stoop so low for sake of votes, Sirsa said that they were committing a sin for allowing such conversion events in the state which was land of Guru Sahibs and epicenter of Sikhism in the world. He also condemned SGPC and SAD for not reacting to event at pious land of Chamkaur Sahib which took place on December 16, 2022.
