In a major Crackdown on Narcotic’s Operation Cell of Chandigarh Police under the supervision of Sh. Ketan Bansal, IPS, SP/Operations, succeeded in arresting drug peddler , identified as Naveen S/o Dilbag Singh Present Address: – R/o 388 Housing Complex Kakrola New Delhi. Permanent Address: – R/o Village Dhakla District Jhajjar (Haryana) Age 26 Years and Dishant Garg S/o Kapil Present Address: – R/o # 3289 2nd Floor Police Colony Sector 51 Chandigarh Permanent Address: – R/o # 18 Village Kajheri Sector 52 Chandigarh Age 20 Years.
On 15.12.2022, Insp. Ram Kumar 1188/CHG along with police party of Operations Cell, Sector-26, Chandigarh were on patrolling at UT Area Chandigarh in the mean time at about 03:30 PM, Insp Ram Kumar along with party apprehended person namely Naveen S/o Late Dilbag Singh Present Address: – R/o 388 Housing Complex Kakrola New Delhi. Permanent Address: – R/o Village Dhakla District Jhajjar (Haryana) Age 26 Years from slip road near tube well back side bus stand sector 17 and recovered 267
Grams Heroin from his possession and same was taken into police possession.(SUBHEAD)
In this regard, above said case has been registered against him in Police Station Sector-17 Chandigarh.
In the follow up action of investigation in above said case on 17.12.2022, police party arrested one another accused namely Dishant Garg S/o Kapil Present Address:- R/o # 3289 2nd Floor Police Colony Sector 51 Chandigarh Permanent Address: – R/o #18 Village Kajheri Sector 52 Chandigarh Age 20 Years from near public toilets back side Petrol Pump Sec52 Chandigarh and 21 grams Heroin was recovered from his possession. Section 29 NDPS Act has been added in this case.
During investigation it came to light that accused Dishant Garg is running a K.D Hotel in village Kajheri
sector 52 Chandigarh and supply drugs to customers in his hotel.
Recovery effected from Naveen 267 gramme heroin. Recovery effected from Dishant heroin 21 grams. The accused Navdeen is married and working as Driver whereas Dishant Garg S/o Kapil Present Address: – R/o # 3289 2nd Floor Police Colony Sector 51 Chandigarh Permanent Address: – R/o #18 Village Kajheri Sector 52 Chandigarh Age 20 Years, Unmarried, and running hotel at Kajheri.
