Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal today inaugurated a free eye check-up and operation camp that was organised by International Brahmrishi Mission on the birthday of Brahmrishi Vishwatma Bawra Ji Maharaj at Brahmrishi Mission Sr. Sec. School here. She also inaugurated the new building of the administrative block of the school.
Dr. Duggal said that the Brahmrishi Mission is making very meaningful efforts in terms of spreading education and social service works. With the inspiration of Bawra Ji Maharaj, the Brahmrishi Mission is doing commendable work by inculcating moral education in the children along with regular education. It is playing an important role in awakening the spirit of patriotism.
She said that children are like raw soil, we will teach them what we will turn them to, they will learn and return to that area. The parents should spend time with children and encourage them to use their energy towards the right activities while minimising the use of mobile phones.
Earlier, on her arrival here, the Deputy Commissioner was welcomed by Swami Brahmrita and Principal Swami Shreya Bharti. She also inspected the Atal Lab built in the school, also visited the cowshed run by the school and performed GauSewa.
Mayor Vimal Thatai, Dr. Gauri Shankar Mittal, Fakir Chand Goyal appreciated the efforts being made by Brahmrishi Mission. Didi Brahmrita shared information with the audience about the work being done by the Mission. Principal Swami Shreya Bharti conducted the proceedings.
