DELHI POLICE BRAVE ASI SHAMBHU DAYAL SUCCUMBED TO KNIFE INJURY WHILE FIGHTING CRIMINAL CP PAID HOMAGE

Late ASI Shri Shambhu Dayal was enlisted in Delhi Police as Constable in 05.02.1993. On 04.02.2023 He caught one desperate criminal and recovered robbed mobile but unfortunately that criminal attacked him with knife and caused multiple injuries on the vital parts. Even though he did not let the criminal flee and criminal was arrested. He fought with life for 04 days but unfortunately succumbed to the injuries and lost his life and went to the heavenly abode on  Sunday morning.(SUBHEAD)(MOREPIC2) 

Commissioner of Police, Shri Sanjay Arora on Sunday paid homage to Late ASI Shri Shambhu Dayal in the office complex of DCP/West, Janak Puri. The Commissioner of Police consoled to the bereaved family and paid condolence to the departed soul. Shri Sagar Preet Hooda Spl. CP/L &O Zone-II and other senior formations of Delhi Police also paid homage to the Late ASI Shri Shambhu Dayal.

He was 57 years old and served almost 30 years in Delhi Police. He survived by his wife Smt. Sanjana Son Deepak and two daughter Gyatri and Priyanka. He was from Village Ganwali, PS Pater, Distt Sikar, Rajasthan. His bravery has added a feather in the cap of Delhi Police
