On 2nd January ,2023 , an information regarding missing of a lady w/o Charanjeet age about 53-54 yrs, R/O A-12B,Avantika Enclave Mangol Puri was lodged in the ps vide DD No 94 at 22.41 hrs.
On enquiry it was revealed that she was a micro financer and doing the business of giving loan to rehri patri hawkers in the West Delhi on daily basis. Her phone was continuously found switched off and CCTV Footage also didn’t conclude anything. Hence a case was registered vide fir no 11/2023 U/s 365IPC on 7 th January 2023 and investigation was taken up.
During investigation we found same location of last two callers with the victim. On this basis enquiries were made with Mobin S/o Majhar but nothing worked out.Another suspect Naveen ,who earlier moved a bail application in this regard joined the investigation yesterday evening .
He confessed his involvemet and revealed that he and Mobin who are known to deceased since 4-5 years and Rehan murdered her at the room of mobin in mangeram park at about 1300 hrs and buried her in Nangloi kabristaan in the intervening night of 2-3 january.
They are family friend and known to all family members.All three were apprehended and auto used in the offence was also recoverd. Further, after following due procedure, body of the deceased was exhumed and sent to mortuary for post-mortem. Further investigation is on.
