SAPTA SHAKTI COMMAND ORGANISES NOK AND EX-SERVICEMEN RALLY

Next of Kin (NOK) and Ex-Servicemen rally was organized by Sapta Shakti Command of Indian Army on Saturday at Swarna Jayanti Stadium Jhunjhunu, more than 6500 Next of Kin and Ex-Servicemen participated.

Chief guest Lt Gen AS Bhinder, GOC-in-C, Sapta Shakti Command thanked the ex-servicemen for their service to the country and said that the nation will always be indebted to the proud soldiers and their families. During the rally, several stalls including civil administration were set up for redressal of problems related to pension, medical, ex-servicemen health scheme, canteen and land documents of ex-servicemen and their families.(SUBHEAD)

Stalls were also set up by various departments for information, awareness and redressal of problems like that PCDA Allahabad Pension Cell, ECHS, Army Welfare Placement Organization and some national banks. Various record offices and regimental centers contributed in making the program a success by sending their representatives to solve the problems related to documents and pensions of ex-servicemen, Veer Naris and veterans of various army regiments.

During the programme, problems related to pension were redressed. Medical facilities were provided to ex-servicemen and their families. Veer Naris, Veeranganas and gallantry award winners were felicitated.
