POLICE FAMILIES WELFARE SOCIETY (PFWS) CELEBRATES “PARVAAZ – LIMITLESS DREAMS”, PFWS SIGNS MOU WITH CSR INITIATIVE ‘TEACH INDIA’

Police Families Welfare Society (PFWS) celebrated cultural event “Parvaaz – Limitless Dreams” at Adarsh Auditorium, PHQ, . Smt. Ritu Arora, President, PFWS was the Chief Guest on the occasion and Ms. Sini Shetty, Miss India-World 2022 & Patron, Teach India was the Guest of Honour. PFWS also signed an MoU with Teach India Foundation for teaching soft skills to police family members.
Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Ritu Arora, President, PFWS underlined the importance of empowering self for leading your life in a desired direction and commended the activities of PFWS in improving the lives of Delhi Police personnel and their kin. She also commended Ms. Sini SHetty for achieving so much in such a tender age with her sheer grit and determination. The Chief Guest also thanked the stakeholder Teach India for coming forward to enhance the skills of and to provide better opportunities to police family members with their unique initiative.(SUBHEAD)
Ms. Sini Shetty also launched her dream project ‘Ashayein – The Power of Hope’, which aims to rebuild lives shattered during Covid pandemic. A short movie showcasing the welfare activities of the PFWS was shown on this occasion. The revered guests also felicitated women police personnel who have performed exceptionally in their fields and police wards who have achieved success in various sports, academics and other artistic platforms. PFWS quarterly magazine featuring various activities of the association was also released.
The event also showcased music and dance performances by Delhi Police Orchestra and police wards. Ms Shalini Singh, Spl CP and DCsP Ms Suman Nalwa and Shri Kumar Gyanesh also graced the occasions.
