With the arrest of accused Vikas Kumar @ Vicky r/o Vandana Vihar, Nangloi Delhi, a team of NR-II/Crime Branch, Delhi has solved a sensational day light armed robbery occurred on 09.01.2023 outside a bank at Bahadurgarh, Haryana wherein Rs. 6.7 lacs were robbed by 05 accused persons by taking the victim at gun point and stabbing him.
On 09.01.2023, the victim had gone to Bank of India, Bahadurgarh, Haryana for depositing Rs. 6.7 Lacs. 05 unknown accused persons came there and took the victim at gun-point and stabbed him with a knife and robbed his bag containing cash and documents. An armed robbery case vide FIR No. 10/23, u/s 395/397 IPC r/w 25 Arms Act was registered at PS Bahadurgarh City, Jhajjar, Haryana. The incident was captured in the CCTV cameras installed therein.
An input was received by HC Pradeep posted at NR-II/Crime Branch, Rohini, Delhi about a criminal namely Vikas Kumar @ Vicky r/o Vandana Vihar, Nangloi Delhi, involved in the armed robbery case that occurred at Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar, Haryana. (SUBHEAD)
HC Pradeep of NR-II/Crime Branch, Delhi further developed the input and located the hideouts of the accused Vikas Kumar @ Vicky. Accordingly, a raiding team comprising of SI Satender Dahiya, ASI Sunil, HC Pardeep & HC Ashok under the leadership of Inspr. Deepak Pandey and overall supervision of Sh. Narender Singh, ACP/NR-II was constituted by Sh. Vichitra Veer, DCP/Crime and Sh. S.D. Mishra, Jt.CP/Crime.
Mr.Ravindra Singh Yadav, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, Crime, said, a raid was conducted by the team in Nangloi, Delhi and the accused Vikas Kumar @ Vicky was arrested from there. The arrested accused disclosed details of the other 04 accused involved in the crime. Haryana Police has been informed about the arrest.
Accused Vikas Kumar @ Vicky belongs to a lower middle class family and was born & brought up in Delhi. He had studied upto Class 12th. His father had expired in 2007-08 and his mother is working in an Anganwadi. The accused used to work in Flipkart. His other associates are absconding.
