Lt Gen AS Bhinder, GOC-in-C, South Western Command flagged in the motorcycle Rally being undertaken by NCC Directorate Gujarat on its arrival at Jaipur from Ajmer.
This is a 1300 km Motorcycle Rally undertaken by 27 riders of NCC including 14 Girl Cadets travelling through the States of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Delhi and culminating at New Delhi on 28 Jan 2023.
The Motorcycle Rally which was flagged off from Dandi carrying a pot of Salt along with Software being developed at Bhaskaracharya Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics (BISAG-Ahmedabad) will hand over the same to the Hon’ble Prime Minister during the NCC Day Parade on 28 Jan 23, thus symbolizing the aspect of “Atmanirbhar Bharat Ka Salt Se Software Ka Safar”.
