The staff of PS Kotla Mubarakpur, South District has done commendable work by busting a gambling racket and arrested 03 accused persons namely Hansraj Gupta @ Nikki, Deepak and Vishal in case FIR No. 42/2023 dated 04.02.2023 U/s 12/9/55 Gambling Act PS K M Pur. Upon their instance, stake money of Rs. 10,010/-, 03 writing pads and 03 ball pens were recovered.
The staff of South District was specifically tasked to curb the crime and to take strict action against the gamblers & bootleggers in their jurisdiction. Accordingly, the beat staff initiated sincere efforts by sensitizing local informers and collecting human intelligence. (SUBHEAD)
The staff of PS K.M. Pur comprising of HC Kuldeep, Ct. Praveen, Ct. Ajay, Ct. Chanderjeet, Ct. Mahipal led by Insp. Narendra Singh ATO (Looking after SHO/K.M. Pur) under overall supervision of Shri Arun Kumar Chauhan, ACP/Defence Colony were deployed for patrolling in the area for prevention and detection of crime.
Mr. Chandan Chowdhary IPS, DCP, South Distt, said, during patrolling, when the team reached in front of O-Block, Sewa Nagar, Near Barat Ghar, Kotla Mubarakpur, they noticed that the place was crowded. When the public noticed the presence of police staff, they started scattering, however 03 of them were apprehended who were gambling. Later on, they were identified as Hansraj Gupta @ Nikki, Deepak and Vishal. From their possession, stake money of Rs. 10,010/-, 03 writing pads and 03 ball pens were recovered. Hence, a case vide FIR No. 42/2023 dated 04.02.2023 U/s 12/9/55 Gambling Act was registered at PS K. M.Pur and further investigation is underway.
PROFILE OF THE ACCUSD PERSON ARRESTED: – Hansraj Gupta @ Nikki R/o near Bharat Ghar, Sewa Nagar, K.M. Pur, New. Age – 42 Years. He was previously found to be involved in at least 10 cases. Deepak R/o Sewa Nagar, K.M.Pur, New Delhi. Age – 25 Years and Vishal R/o Nanak Chand Basti, K.M. Pur New Delhi. Age – 30 Years. He was previously found to be involved in four cases.
