The Special Staff, Outer District, has done a splendid job by arresting three notorious drug suppliers from the area of PS Ranhola and 101.650 Kg of Ganja was recovered from them.
On 11.02.2023 a secret information regarding supply of narcotics substance ganja in the area of PS Ranhola was received. On receiving the information, a dedicated team comprising SI Pardeep Kumar, ASI Sunil Kumar No. 852/OD, ASI Shakti No. 5168/OD, HC Anil No. 1946/OD, HC Ombir No. 1612/OD and Ct. Manjeet No. 1718/OD under the leadership of Parveen Kumar, Inspector Spl/Staff and overall supervision of ACP/Operation was constituted.
As per the information, at about 09:40 PM, a trap was laid near Kheri Baba Pul, Jai Vihar, Ranhola, Delhi and three persons each carrying a plastic bag (katta) were apprehended.
On enquiry, the three accused persons were identified as Pabbar Giri R/o Mohan Garden, Delhi Age 46 yrs, Pappu Rai R/o Mohan Garden, Delhi Age 46 yrs, Permanent Address: Village- Kirpaltola Fatwah, PS- Nadi, Distt- Patna, Bihar, Geegal Kumar R/o Village- Behrampur, PS- Raghupur, Distt- Vaisali, Bihar, Age 34 yrs.
On checking the plastic bags, 35.250 kg of ganja was recovered from accused Pabbar Giri, 33.200 Kg of ganja was recovered from accused Pappu Rai and 33.200 Kg of ganja was recovered from accused Geegal.
A case vide FIR No. 157/2023 dated 12.02.2023 U/s 20(b)(ii)(C) NDPS Act, PS Ranhola, was registered and investigation of the case has been taken up.
INTERROGATION : During sustained interrogation, accused Pappu Rai disclosed that he was involved in similar cases earlier also. He used to purchase the ganja from Bihar and supply it in the area of Delhi with the help of his associates. Accused Pabbar Giri disclosed that he used to purchase the ganja from Bihar with the help of Pappu Rai and supply it in the area of Delhi. Accused Geegal Kumar disclosed that he used to purchase the ganja from Bihar with the help of Pappu Rai & Pabbar Giri and supplied it in the area of Delhi.
PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENT:Accused Pabber Giri is previously involved in 2 criminal cases & accused Pappu Rai is previously involved in 1 criminal case of similar nature. Further investigation of the case is in progress.
